What is REA Native?
A native Codex plugin that studies a target, builds a compatible feature and checks it against evidence, on the preserved MIT REA 6.5.0 engine. It is an independent integration, not an official upstream release or an approved OpenAI Plugin Directory listing.
Should I use REA Native or Lostwax?
Use REA Native if you work in native Codex. Using Grok Bot or Cursor? Use Lostwax, the plugin built for those apps.
What has been verified?
- In the 0.1.6 preview: 18 unit/protocol tests passed.
- A separate owned-fixture comparison ran the JavaScript original and a generated Python implementation on identical inputs: 6/6 ASCII cases matched.
Finite matches do not prove every input or global equivalence, and generated tests against source-derived expectations alone are not original runtime parity.
How do I install it?
Using the CLI bundled with your native client:
codex plugin marketplace add FibonacciAi/rea-native --ref v0.1.6 --json codex plugin add rea-native@rea-native --json
Then follow the isolated engine setup in the repository with an existing supported Node runtime. Setup disables npm lifecycle scripts and does not install a decompiler or paid provider. Use software you own or are authorized to inspect.
